No-Rush Shipping Credits Expiration Reminder: Many of you still have digital credits that expire tomorrow, May 15th.
These credits can be used to purchase some eBooks, Amazon Instant Video, Digital Music, Amazon Appstore apps, Digital Video Games, and Digital Software. * * * I made quite a few separate purchases last week and chose no-rush shipping for some items. These new digital credits will expire July 31, 2016. I was offered $1 digital credits for most purchases, but there were a few $5.99 Amazon Pantry shipping credits as well. |

Dragging this thread back up...
The UK currently gets a £2 Prime Now credit for no-rush delivery. Amazon gift cards are available through Prime Now, albeit with free next day delivery instead of 'Now'. The credits are valid until December 31st so that's plenty of time to accumulate enough to get a reasonable amount in gift cards. Not as good as last year's £3 digi credits, but at least it's not stupid Pantry credits ![]() Edit: ah, not so good "Only one £2 credit will be applied per Prime Now order" ![]() Last edited by Yolina; 10-09-2016 at 08:33 AM. |

Another change to the no-rush program:
http://www.aftvnews.com/amazon-now-h...redit-balance/ They have added a page that lists your credits and when they expire. Not that folks around here let them get too old, what with all those tempting cheap ebooks... |

I still think it's pretty lame that only eBooks sold by "Amazon Digital Services, LLC" (in the US) are eligible for credits. Yes, I know there are a lot of books that fit, but nothing from any major publisher (far more than the "big 5") does.
And, a lot of the books that do count are part of Kindle Unlimited. |

Plus, it's Amazon's money they're giving *back* to you. They can attach whatever strings they like. |

Sure they can. But if they want to coerce more people to take the slow-ship option, they need to give back more. I assume Amazon parses the elasticity of this excellently, but it still means that some customers who would take slow shipping on their $5 item haven't been seduced away from the Prime shipping they *paid* for.

I wonder how much of the $99 fee is used up by Prime shipping?
