He couldn't have turned up to receive it yet, that is not until December 10th. And it is quite possible that he does not want to make a political or otherwise statement until that date - if he does choose to make a statement at all. Right now he is quiet for reasons known only to him. That is usually the case until you cease being quiet.

I am very interested in knowing the outcome, or rather I am even more interested in the reasons behind it. But I will wait and consider different possibilities. It can still go either way.

Never heard of her either. I looked her up on Wiki and she was a punk rock performer in NYC back in the mid 1970s when I was in high school. Again, never heard of her, but I never got into punk rock. I'm thinking the term "superstar" is not appropriate for her though. A performer whose music genre doesn't appeal to me, or even one I avoid, should still be a recognizable name if they are in fact really a superstar. Again, never heard of her...

I think it's a genre thing. I don't ever recall hearing that song. If I did, it certainly doesn't stand out and I've long since forgotten that I did.

In the 70s, I was listening to AOR stations, hard rock, heavy metal, and 50s & 60s oldies.
