Any news on IMX 7 use with e-ink?
Anyone has some news or heard some gossips when we can expect some e-reader that would use IMX7?
I read a little bit about it and everyone claims that it will be a revolution, and I wonder... I would like to see it used in e-ink monitor like Dasung Paperlike, to reduce lagging when writing and moving cursor, it would be amazing! If we are dreaming...add color e-ink to it...and have the ultimate e-ink device! (at least for me ![]() |

I am sure many of you heard of the new 10inch e-reader from reMarkable. They claim that it's refresh rate will be 55ms:
http://www.stuff.tv/me/news/remarkab...dy-new-heights I read somewhere that standard refresh rate from e-readers nowadays is between 150-500ms and it's impossible to go lower than 150 because of hardware limitations. I know that this e-reader like device at this point is a vaporware, however it definitely looks promising. The videos looks interesting, pre-order price is tempting... I would like to see more videos/harware information about it. What is the fastest refresh rate among e-readers now? |

I haven't paid attention to any of that, though I did hear about IMX 7 processors.
At any rate, there's a thread about the reMarkable device here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=281279 |
