I gave up on them, but I only grabbed them in case I could use them on a Fire Tablet on sale. Figured it was worth trying in case I could get a new tablet insanely cheap. No such luck though. I did look at the list earlier to see if there were any SSD drives in there cheap, but all they seemed to have were larger-capacity, expensive ones.

Edit: Scratch that, I decided to look again for some reason and they had a 275GB Crucial SSD. Discount took it down cheaper than it's ever been according to camelcamelcamel, so I'm pretty happy.

It wouldn't work on cards or flash drives, but it does work for external hard drives. I was eyeing a 1 TB WD orange one--would've been $40 with the coupon--but reluctantly decided to pass.

I had to find something that cost at least $2.51 to reach $30. It took awhile to find something cheap that was sold by Amazon and wasn't an add-on item.

It worked for me on a flash drive.

I made sure I ordered the flash drive from computers and not electronics. That may or may not make a difference. YMMV

Used the camera code to get a $40 wifi camera/baby monitor for $10.

Amazon Add-on Items can be purchased through Alexa by themselves

I didn't know you could do that.

A Reddit user by the name of darkcellmp has discovered that if you ask Alexa to order an add-on item from Amazon, an order will be placed for that single item, even though the order total doesn’t meet the $25 minimum that is usually required when purchasing add-on items. If you’re a Prime member, you won’t be charged for shipping either, since all add-on items are technically eligible for free Prime shipping. So the next time you find yourself needing an add-on item, but don’t want to buy anything else, place the order through Alexa.

I hear ya. Nothing much for me either. I ordered some Dots and a phone (audio player). Outside of that, nothing else has caught my attention.

I got a Carpet Shampooer & a Wet/Dry Vac.... Walmart. O yea Kevin snuck in $75 worth of EA Games gift cards. Target got 6 bright yellow Towels & Finding Dory. At Best Buy got movie for Kevin $9 but I had a $5 off coupon & Kevin also got from amazon the BluRay TV show X-Files ALL seasons.

Tomarrow after I got to PT I have to go to Best Buy & TRY to pay off the Credit Card

Two things I have noticed are...

1) The prices of DVD box sets of old TV shows have not come down.

2) The record companies have issued just a small number of new box sets of old ('50s and '60s) jazz records for me.

Do you shop around? The X-File in Febuary was $300 & I got the Same set for $120 from Amazon a week before black Friday in a Lighting Deal!
