I just finished my Christmas shopping! The teddy bear for my wife, the gift card for me.

A lot of law enforcement agencies accept stuffed toys for officers to carry in vehicle for children involved in bad situations. Or family shelters might, also, but not sure there.

I finally bought something seeing BF and CM were a bust. No not the Amazon earbuds. They haven't gone on sale and Monkey and Katie are sending me theirs. Aren't they awesome!

I had a AmazonBasics Wireless Mouse on my watch list. It did go on sale. So I bought it for my desktop. Hubby killed my other mouse playing Klondike on Facebook.

So technically the new one is his Christmas gift. It will be here Monday. I bought myself a cheap bookshelf. It's a duplicate of the one I bought last year. I need the storage.

BF was a major bust for a me as well. I got to order the iPad Pro I wanted at Target but my order was cancelled because of a problem with my billing address. I got through to chat to sort it out and the agent attempted to put the order through but he came back and said they were out of stock.

The next day the site was showing them available but I was still having trouble with my address. Got to chat again, but the agent (new one) was still saying it was out of stock even though the site was saying something else. And I had one right there in my cart! Ugh

The whole thing got me dangerously close to pissed-off level, so I felt it wise to abandon the quest.

My iPad 3 still works quite well; I only wanted to replace it because now I can't get iOS 10 on there but that's not the end of the world

I didn't see as much buying through my blog this year either. That could be because most of my affiliate sales come from Amazon and they actually lost a tiny bit of market share...okay, I doubt that was it. I think more people go direct now because of all the tie-ins. A few people picked up fonts through my site. As for me, I bought socks, coffee and two discounted grocery store gift cards (for myself). Oh and the place I buy bulk tart cherry juice had free shipping, so I got a case of that. I watched for a good deal on a point/shoot camera, but nothing came into "steal" range. I did watch the no-contract phones, but nothing quite shouted out to me.

It's funny how a lot of people are now "done" shopping by the end of CM. Anyone out there still shopping or are we all waiting for "last minute deals" or "after Christmas napkins and paper plates?"

Done? Done? Hardly! I bought my first Christmas gift at Amazon just now. I'm not waiting for last-minute deals; I'm waiting for last-minute inspiration!

Shopping was easy this year. It's a Dot Christmas for me. I bought 5 of those critters for gifts.
