Tomorrow (nor Friday) is not a holiday for me (I'm not in the US) but I'm willing to wait up for a good deal

I've taken a look around at BestBuy.com and it looks like the iPad Pro 9.7" is sold out, according to the product page

I wanted to get it from BB because it works out a bit cheaper (the starting price there is $699, and minus $125 is $574, whereas at Target it starts at $749, and minus $150 is $599). Well, we'll see

Yes, I'm Eastern time (not too far from Chicago actually). I'm hoping they'll have their act together this year, but not holding my breath. I've no plans to brave the icy rain to actually go to the store. Hoping to snag both of their AT&T phones this year for my parents. I would buy them each the same phone, but that would just lead to confusion.

Yes we were. Hubby and me took turns refreshing on different computers till it went live and got two Moto Es. I'm typing on it now. Best $10 spent that Holiday. Later I got a ZTE Maven for $20. This year I don't see anything I want in the phone area.

Product pages get refreshed for Black Friday sales. Frequently, stores will suspend sales on certain items in order to have adequate stock for BF, especially for doorbusters.

The cellphone posts (see below) have been sorted, finally. This ranking is by no means definitive in any way. The phones have been sorted into two major categories - unlocked and no contract phones.

What I did was to rank them according to their specs, giving heavy weight to CPU, RAM, and storage. You'll notice that they're clustered in groups for phones with similar specs.

Also, note that I separated phones according to their OS. With these no contract phones, the OS you buy is the OS you're stuck with. Manufacturers rarely upgrade these low-end devices. So take that into consideration if you desire certain features.

The Kobo Aura 2 is going to be CA$99.99 at Chapters Indigo for Black Friday, which is about US$75. Shipping is free to Canada; my guess is that shipping to the US will run about US$11, so it's still much cheaper than buying from Kobo US.

I'm just keeping an eye out to see if Amazon's Fire phone headphones go on sale. They are currently 14.99 but if they go on sale I'm going to grab a pair. They are the best ear buds ever and mine are old and well used.

Will do. My originals came with my fire phone. I use these earbuds on everything. They are well worth $15 but I'm on a very tight budget right now so hoping they go on sale.
