Spotify does have a web player: play.spotify.com

I may need to use that on my Windows Phone: it is on the 'insider' slow track for Windows updates and the latest one broke Spotify app. Just says 'Loading...' and repeats every 20-30 seconds ad infinitum and does not ever reach ready-to-play state. Could not figure out how to report it to Spotify.

Also Spotify (US) does not have ECM Records in its catalog (neither does Amazon Music). My favorite jazz label of all time. Fortunately I've trained a couple of my Pandora channels for when I need an ECM infusion. Apart from that it has transformed my music consumption entirely, much as ebooks did for reading. Never going back.

Ironically it was the Spotify app for Windows Phone that alerted me to the fact that ECM was not available. The 'show all content' option was in ON position, I was really excited to suddenly see all the ECM titles I wasn't finding on the iOS/Android apps, only to discover they were 'not available'. Hope they work out a deal to stream it.

It baffles me why Amazon has no 'Amazon Music' app for older Fire devices.

Thank you! That is good to know. That player does not seem to have the "connect" feature, or maybe I haven't found it yet.

I've been seeing Google Home commercials on TV in the past few days. Being a long time Alexa user, they are not showing anything revolutionary, although I know from reading the reviews that there are a couple of things that Google Home can do that set it apart.

That's $10 cheaper than Amazon's Black Friday price. If this is your first Alexa order since the sales page went up, you'll also get a free $5 Amz GC, bringing your final price down to $75.

Once again, Amazon is selling the same items at different prices. In this case, you have to be a Prime member who owns an Alexa device (Echo, Tap, Dot, Fire TV, Fire Tab) in order to qualify.

If you don't qualify for this deal, you can get it for $90 on BF.

I accidentally ordered one..I asked her what the deals were. She listed that one and asked if I wanted to order one. I said no, and then my DA husband said no. I guess 2 no's = a yes. I was able to cancel it. I could and might get 2 Dots for that price, when they go on sale.

That is funny! So does your hubby now sport duct tape across his mouth?

That does bring up an important point though. In order to make the purchases by voice with Alexa we have to set up one-click purchasing for those devices. So be very careful as she or we might not hear correctly and wind up with stuff we did not mean to purchase. If you notice the accidental purchase, you can cancel it easy enough, but you might not notice it.

Do you have the url for the USA BF sales prices? I would very much like to browse them. As usual, Amazon likes to list a zillion different prices for various sales without necessarily being intuitive about it.

Thanks. As usual Amazon has made it nearly impossible to find what will be on sale and when and for how much. They want you to continuously browse their site looking for deals. I still have not been able to see an actual ad for the Tap on BF for $90 as you listed. No doubt they might have placed that in some stupid email, but the bleeping DAes bleeping sure don't list it anywhere on their website as far as I can see. I could care less about the Tap, but I wonder how many other deals I cannot find or discover! I wish the DAes would make t easier to locate the eligible deals on any specific item. If I want to buy the ACME Road Runner Gizmo, I should be able to search for all the deals on it that will be upcoming.

I agree with your sentiment. I wish they'd release a BF ad like all of the other stores do.

The individual plan says it is for all your devices. Can you stream to multiple devices at the same time? If I have music playing in the bedroom and forget to turn it off, will I be able to listen in a different room?
