So if you don't know what the numbers are nd your library switches, the only way you'll know is to fill both lists.

Since you have used the new version of Overdrive longer than most of us posting here - during the time you've used it, has your library changed the number of holds or checkouts and if so, did they notify you? \

I know how many holds and checkouts my library allowed at the time of the switchover to the new site a couple weeks ago. I hope they will do some kind of notification if the number changes.

It's not that the numbers have changed. It's that there are no numbers shown and the only way to know how many holds and loans you have is to count. If you do not remember the maximum holds and loans, the only way to find out it to fill the hold and loan lists and count. Then take a note so you can look it up if need be.I took note for most of the libraries I access. I was unable to take note of one library as it had already switched.

I did get an email the other day that one library had changed the number of loans from 3 to 6.

I do not.

I've noticed the Chrome Library Extension plug-in is failing. I figure they need to update the URLs to the various libraries, but I am assuming not all have changed over so it'll be a tedious process to update as they change?

I only realized the URL changes thanks to the Calibre PI.

Yes, the Chrome plugin will have to be updated to work. The problem is that in order to fully work, it will have to support both the new and old Overdrive until all libraries are switched over.

I also would check every week or so for new audiobook releases. I'd click on the menu, find audiobooks, fiction, and immediately be able to see the new acquisitions sorted by date.

Now, when I navigate to audiobooks, fiction and sort by date, I am seeing on the first page a hodge-podge of books, many of which I know are not new acquisitions because I borrowed and read them a month or two ago. It's ridiculous.

Plus there used to be a single category for mystery, suspense, and thrillers. Now I have to check three categories, the listings of which overlap, which wastes more time.

And if I want to check out a different genre for a change of pace, forget it. Way, way too many overly specific categories. Could they not have created hierarchies with subcategories?

Makes me think of the good ole Dewey Decimal system of classification... there's definitely a place for subgrouping to help users more easily find topics of interest!

For example i lent "women in cabin 10" months ago from overdrive and according to their website it was the last book they just added...they have added MANY new books since that title yet theirwebsite does not show this...as you can see below.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I just suffered the horrendous affliction of a new overdrive version. Is there no cure????

This month the new version was forced upon me. I can no longer get overdrive to sort the newly added aufiobooks correctly.

For exanmple.....i downloaded women in cabin 10 months ago YET it is showing up as just added.....

I emailed the Library Extension PI support today. He updated MD OD & Brooklyn today. A library at a time....

A book I just put on hold says I am number 174 on 7 copies. By my calculation, this is approximately 25 people on hold per copy. However, if I click on the question mark, it says there are at most 15 people ahead of me in line. How is this possible?

I may take this book off hold, given I have only 6 holds, this is a fairly new book, and if I wait a few weeks and try again, the number of people who have the book on hold will probably decrease. In the meantime, I could use that hold for a book that has a shorter queue.
