I am thinking about getting another Kindle because the memory of what I have is always maxed out.

I saved $20 with the special offers model, but I have come to be annoyed by the advertisements because never once has there been an ad of a book which appealled to me!

Black Friday Presale and Doorbusters, Nov. 23-24

Again this year, Target will offer the “Black Friday Presale,” giving guests a chance to shop select Black Friday deals early at Target.com and at all stores via Cartwheel on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Beginning early Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 24, guests can shop all of Target’s Black Friday deals at Target.com with free shipping or when stores open at 6 p.m.

Target stores will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving for one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Stores will remain open until 10 p.m., 11 p.m. or midnight on Friday, Nov. 25. Throughout the season, the retailer once again will offer extended store hours to meet guests’ shopping needs:

• Nov. 24: 6 p.m. to Friday, Nov. 25: 10 p.m., 11 p.m. or midnight
• Nov. 27-Dec. 16: Extended holiday hours go into effect. Hours vary by store, check Target.com for specific store hours

Toys"R"Us Black Friday --> ad scan

We just leaked the 404-item, 28-page Toys R Us Black Friday ad scan!

Toys R Us will be opening at 5PM on Thanksgiving and their doorbusters will be available until midnight. If you want to shop online the sale will start at 9PM on Wednesday. If you're not looking for a doorbuster item, the sale prices will be valid until Saturday night.

This ad is packed with great toy deals, and as we mentioned earlier in the season, Toys R Us has a lot of exclusives this year! These items may be similar to items offered at other stores, but might have a small difference which makes them an exclusive. Our favorite exclusive is the Step2 Little Cooks Kitchen for $29.99! Some of you may be as disappointed as we were when we realized there were no Hatchimals in this ad! Hopefully we see some of them pop up around Cyber Monday as the prospect for snagging one is looking more and more dismal.

Neither of these laptops have a full HD screen. The screen is a major letdown of these two laptops.

I let Prime lapse last spring and that was a good decision for me. I just buy less (the $49 threshold for free shipping is too high) or go with an alternative vendor. But heading into the holidays, I may end up doing the one month of Prime at $10.99, especially with Prime/Echo only deals. I'll monitor the daily deals, as obviously I'd like to postpone the start as long as possible.

A long-winded way of saying that here's the link for Alexa's deals, as she won't tell you what they are if you're not Prime. Nothing compelling today, to put it mildly. Reminds me of that first Prime Day.

I usually look for items like this on Newegg.com first [link] but Amazon and its subsidiary Woot often have AOC (brand) refurbished USB monitors on sale. I would consider anything under $100 to be an attractive price, and the first item in that link page (at this time) is a special on a new AOC 15.6" USB 3.0 monitor for $99.99 plus 99 cents shipping. Hope that helps!
