It doesn't just make the e-reading world better. It makes the e-reading world usable. Without calibre (and, to be brutally honest, Alf's plugins) I wouldn't even have so many ebooks; I'd be using an e-reader to read public domain/drm-free books only, and I probably would have stopped reading genre fiction except for the very best few books.

Once in a while I make a small donation, as I do with many other open source software I use a lot.

Congrats Kovid on 10 great years. I'm coming up on 8 years using it myself. I found Calibre 0.4.??? before I even bought a ereader then bought a Sony PRS-505 due in large part to this great software being available. Looking forward to another 10 years!

Well, it's 10-age, so it runs from 10 to 19. It might not be as noticable at first, to work up to a max around 15 and then (normally) go back down again around 18.
