Can anybody get any of their 'miss you' codes to work anywhere? I've had no luck with a couple I've been saving. I'm wondering if they deactivated the feature for all of them, and if they have, why the heck are they still sending them out?

I got an email about the 30% off at Kobo (US) this weekend.

Anyone get the coupon to work? I just tried and it said either my books didn't qualify, or it wasn't working (yet/anymore).

There is a 30 percent off code that is working (I can tell because one of my books is in the promo and is selling). I don't know the actual code. Let me see if I can find whether they tell me the code somewhere.

Okay, try 30OCT for 30 percent off. It is tied to a particular list, but I don't know the list you got in your email.

The 30OCT unlimited usage coupon goes with this Fall Reading Event promo over at Kobo Canada (presumably elsewhere as well), mainly for small publishers and indie titles, with subcategories for mystery/thriller, romance, sf/fantasy, and omnibus editions.

That explains it. I did have books that were eligible for Promo Codes, but I guess not the 30OCT one.

Oddly enough, I was able to successfully use the 30OCT code on a book that was not on the list (but is otherwise "coupon eligible").

Remember, this is Kobo. Cross your fingers and give it a try.

Miss-you codes generally come with a seven-day expiration date. Could the codes have expired? And did you try to use them with the account attached to the email that sent them?

Yes, I tried old and new ones not expired, and yes on corresponding account.

Does Kobo notify people when they award the extra points from the recent promo weekend. They said 7/10 days but I've not got them yet.

I got mine already. No notification, just happened to log into my account. Now to find a couple of books to use them on... (I'm currently thinking of going with some Christopher Stasheff self-published backlist.)
