Almost all dishes are done.
Big water main break down in old town which is less than a mile from here. So far not affected but it flooded some businesses. Found out there is a new gyro place going in where it happened so excited about that. Sent from my XT1528 |

I'm currently doing a system restore from four days ago on my desktop. Hubby managed to corrupted his profile. Getting BSD 0x51 any time I try to log into his account. Mine works fine.
System restore works on all profiles right? I only have to run it once and not run it for each profile? I've never had to do this since giving him his own account. So clueless here. I've always had only my account. Update: It seems to have fixed it. He's is playing Klondike on Facebook now. Sent from my XT1528 Last edited by Blossom; 10-28-2016 at 11:36 PM. |

Today marks the beginning of Holiday Season 2016 for us! So I'm listening to Christmas music and planning just how much decorations I want to put up this year. It's all in storage. It's bittersweet as Maisy loved this time. Her eyes would dance with excitement as she saw open the boxes full of shiny garland, beads, bows and ornaments. Maybe Sweetpea will pick up the tradition this year. Her personality has emerged more and more these past weeks.
55 days to Christmas Alexa informs me. ![]() Sent from my XT1528 |

Although I love how my bedside table looks, it was never very practical for me. The top surface is too small (my internet radio is quite big), there isn't any space to put an extension cord in it so I've got one under the bed, which means various wires run in front of the door when I'm charging stuff, making the inside of the little cupboard not very accessible.
On Pintrest I found the suggestion to use an Ikea 2x2 Kallax shelves as a bedside table. Which gives me a lot of space on top and four sections I can do what I want with; get door, drawers, baskets or leave it open. I plan to put drawers into the two bottom sections and leave the two top ones open, with maybe some small baskets or bowls for small items. It's also deep enough to put an extension cord in for my charger, lamp, radio and wax burner. So now I'm looking for an extension cord with enough sockets for all my things and which is small enough to fit into the back of the shelf. Tomorrow the supplier we get our extension cords from comes to bring an order, so I'll also have to ask him if he has anything in stock that'll fit my needs. |

Hubby just got home from work. He made a stop at the storage unit and picked up the tree and our holiday decorations.
I think the tree will go in the Kitchen this year in the middle of the big window. It's an open floor plan just a half wall separates the bedroom and kitchen.Sweetpea is sensing something is happening. She got her curious look on. lol Sent from my Nexus 7 |

Skittles sound good.
I am doing laundry. First load: shirts, washed dried and hung up. Second load: pants washed and in the dryer. 3rd load: undies, 3 shirts, 1 pants, 1 microfiber cloth in the washer. Towels are hanging out in the hamper. Fixing to go start dinner. |

Dinner started. Rearranged one counter in the kitchen. Had to reverse the microwave and toaster oven. Cord problems. The microwave cord was too close to the toaster oven.
Was tired of having to unplug the microwave to use the toaster oven. |

Eating a Tootsie Roll. My first ever. Not quite what I was expecting - it's not a roll for starters. And it's very chewy. I thought it was going to be chocolate as well, not toffee-like. I also had my first Twinkie last week (as far as I can remember. I did live in Baton Rouge in the mid-70s but don't recall having tried one).
The reason for all this fun is that our local supermarket has started selling a range of American brands, so I'm trying a few out .
