3M Cloud Library not downloading

3M's Library program updated itself to Cloud Library 2.0 and it's crap. It's only downloading 10% and then it gets stuck. What gives?

IT has downloaded all my books without problem, and it orders books by "date added", and it is pink

Then there is some specific problem with the app. I installed the new version tomorrow and, the first time, it downloaded all the books I have loaned (not a big migration), but I've opened it just now to check and it has opened right and it has not added another version of the files.

I had the exact same problem. The old 3M app updated itself while I was browsing. After troubleshooting with my library I finally figured out it's a problem with the Adobe ID. Using the Cloud Library desktop app I clicked on my login name in the top right corner. From there I signed out. When I signed back in I selected the wrong library on purpose which gave me an “invalid login credentials error”. I then selected the correct library and when I signed in it prompted me to authorize my computer for Adobe & requested my username and password. That allowed me to start downloading again like normal.

What I do not get is why they did not fix any of the major problems with the app. I would have liked to see them add support for multiple libraries so I do not have to log in and out all the time, an ability to copy into the search box, have the app not crash all the time, an ability to wishlist books and save searches and them organizing the books available better than the crap shoot it is now. The only things I can see that they have done is make some small changes to the layout and give the app a paint job. I hate this app with a passion.

I ran into a different problem. I wasn't prompted to update to the new Cloud Library on my Mac so I downloaded it from the 3M website. In the middle of downloading the first book, it prompted me to allow it to access my existing Adobe ID information. All good there so I didn't get stuck on download like other people.

However, when I opened up Adobe Digital Editions, everything that was there had been emptied out. It basically was like new with only the library book there! Weird. I used my Time Machine backup to restore the previous contents of my Digital Editions folder. Just downloaded a new borrowed book from Cloud Library, and it was added to my existing Digital Editions library like normal. All is working again!
