The kind of thing that amuses me about the weather here:

If you catch the above animation soon after I post this, you will see the somewhat schizophrenic nature of precipitation here (I'm trying to look smarter by saying "precipitation" instead of "rain". How's that working out?). So, we have rain coming in from the west, and rain coming in from the south east, and both of them passing through each other. This is SE Queensland's way of saying "Not so quick, smartarse. I'm gonna get you wet somehow or other".

It's still warmish-and-humid though...I might go for a swim.

No, wait, I've got to go cull books from the bookcases first...

One of the 3D graphics companies is giving away a groundhog model this month. I can render it with or without shadow, as I please. Not that it will make any difference either way.... for once, we had a weekend without snow, but we're supposed to get a pile of it tomorrow. Maybe my philosophy class will be cancelled....

I've just noticed that the nearest lampost to the house has two huge icicles hanging from it. I'm not taking a photo as light grey ice against a just slightly darker sky doesn't work very well...
