Have you tried swiping with your left thumb? Or reaching across past the 1/3 mark and tapping (needs the right setting selected in Reading Settings). Not everyone can reach to do the second one, but I have small hands and can manage on my H2O.

I hold it in one hand, usually my right, and turn pages with a thumb swipe.

I read on a tablet using Moon+ReaderPro (although I have the standard Moon+Reader installed for those times I am reading an anthology as well as a novel and don't feel like "consuming" the anthology at one bite.

First I reconfigure the Moon+Reader to have a tap on the left of the screen to move forward and a tap on the upper right hand corner to go back a page. As it is not that frequent that I want to move back a page, it results in a configuration that is comefortable and easy to read one handed with my tablet (I prefer my 7" samsung tablet size both for weight and reading area) in my left hand held "portrait".

Note: if you have wifi turned off the ads in the standard Moon+Reader don't pop up.

Clearly, some people don't drive in Canada Distracted driving can run you close to $500+ in fines depending on where you are.

(I don't drive at all)

i have moon reader pro on my 10 in tablet (which has a stand built in) and it sits by my bed so I can read that at night. My kindle or phone I just hold in my left hand, swipe or button push with my right hand.

(edited to correct what I said about holding my kindle and phone).

I usually use stands and/or holders.

Velcro is always useful.

If I was going to hold it, I would run an elastic across the back opposite corners.

I change the settings on my Kobos so that the entire bottom is a page-forward tap, so I can hold it in my left hand and tap wth my thumb just past the bezel to advance. Page back is the top of the screen so I use my right hand, but I don't need that much.

Resting between right thumb and middle finger half way up the e-reader - turning pages with thumb (forward) middle finger (back).

To all the people who posted ereader holders on the car steering wheel, I'd just like to ask if that is not consider unsafe in your country assuming that you use it while the car is running.

I don't use it while I'm on the road, and I assume most people don't.

The thing is, usually my thumb is the only digit on the front of the device, and if I'm holding it at close to a ninety degree angle, it will fall. Could be I'm just a clod

At any rate, I've ordered the official sleep cover case. Expected ETA is today. So I'll likely be holding it a little differently from now on.

I often have my tablet on my lap, and often, using moonreader, just tap to turn pages.

I think some important information is missing. I just realized many more appear to hold their reader in their left hand. Of those who hold their reader in their left hand how many are left handed?

I'm right handed and read with my tablet in my left hand.
