Thanks for the info, today I stopped by Home Depot, got some small neodymium disks, and after a while I found the exact spot, which happens to be where that small pocket in the front cover is, so that worked out very well! And I checked folding over, the cover's way too thick for that to be an issue.

I did however notice how picky the KA1 is, and somehow registers a magnet like finger touch, flipping pages or even highlighting things when I pushed it around... now I can understand much better why people are having so many issues with the official sleep cover, the slightest disturbance (like lying on a metal table) and it registers as something different from the intended sleep switch

I never cared for sleeves for any device, personally. But it's not about price at all (if you can spare the money, naturally). For me, it's mostly function. And I'll pay for function with an awesome look

I was all ready to buy a gecko cover (didn't care for the original kobo cover at all) except that it wasn't a slimfit cover. Which is the "function" I wanted. Combine that with some quality leather cover and I'm hooked...

True that. And only every other year? When I hear some people talk, they buy one every year! I think I'll stick with my €700 mobile phone (yes, I splurged last year, but only because I really wanted that 5.5" screen and boy am I happy I didn't wait for the Galaxy Note 7, which was on my wishlist as well...) for a few more years to come.

Sounds like some 3rd party covers are actually nicer and better than the official one. And way less expensive !

Last Friday or so I received an e-mail from Norève that my cover would take 4 working days to be delivered. That would be next Thursday.

I seem to remember reading on the site somewhere, a long time ago, that the Smooth Black leather with black lining is their 'default cover'; it's the 'cheapest' (apart from the PU one, which is only €10 less...), and they are always making that one. Anything else regarding color or leather style is made to order and will take 2-3 weeks.

Noreve look great, but the price

But they are so nice...
I like pretty things and can't help it, my budget often suffers from it

Last Friday Norève sent me a confirmation e-mail that delivery of the cover would take 4 working days: around 20-10-2016. Therefore I expect to receive the cover either at the end of this week, or the beginning of next week. I'll post some pictures after I get it (assuming I like it).

edit: it's not the 20th, so I'm expecting the cover to be sent and/or received in a few days.

Because I love to read it without a cover at home. Then I only have this piece of velcro at the back and thats it.

On tour I just "glue" it to the cover and off I go.

Sometimes (but not too often) I even use the stand functionality.

€40+? That's a serious amount of money for a flap and some velcro to be honest.

You didn't remember because there was some considerably difference between the cover shown now and then.

They had some photoshopped covers. Three of them with the frame to hold the device and the red one without the frame and visible magnets. We were all wondering which one would get in the end, remember?

Then they cleaned up their act and now there even is a white one. Same happened on ebay and aliexpress. Looks to me like there is one manufacturer whith whom they all buy their stock.

I ordered one of these via ebay from China because it was cheaper back at the time, but am still waiting for it to be delivered. In the meantime Noreve decided to do a cover for the ONE and now I am waiting for theirs, too.

Pity since I was very interested in the weight (82g), I liked the look (the dark colour), hoped the feel was better than the plastic, and didn't mind the absence of the sleep cover function which I don't use. I wrote to them about it since I think it misleading to advertise it as a Aura One cover.

The "ecological" tag is the usual ridiculous claim for something made mostly of synthetic material.
