I'm deadly allergic to bleach like Clorox. If I get near bleach it's not pretty. Just the smell can make really sick. I need to bleach the cat room but I can't. My sister or hubby will have to do it while I leave for a few hours.

Hubby didn't believe me when we got married 16 years ago. He thought he could sneak some into his laundry. He learn real quick that I wasn't joking. One minute I was fine then I got woozy and boom my legs went out from under me and I couldn't breath. I didn't smell anything. I don't buy anything with bleach added. The only that doesn't bother me is Comet cleaner. I don't know why it doesn't bother me but everything else does.

I thought you were in your twenties for some reason.

On the bleach, it was 10 years before my lungs didn't scream bloody murder when I got near it. Needless to say I still can't go near a swimming pool.

Oh and for anyone not allergic to bleach, a 10% solution will kill pretty much anything.
That is the solution that microbiology labs keep on the tables at all times.

For the next 3 months hubby is 11 years older, then it goes back to 10.

I'm recouping. Hubby and I spent yesterday spring cleaning. We empty the cat room out of everything. Now it needs to be mopped, walls washed and metal wire racks sprayed down. Bought a new litter box, scoop, litter pail. All tiny compared to the old one. So now Sweetpea can make it her own.

We plan to get our washer and dryer as the sales start. Now there's room for them.

Hubby made over 7 trips to the dumpster yesterday. I told him people are going to think we are moving out. Hubby vacuum while I swept. We then threw out a bunch of clutter after that we went through our pantry and threw out all the expired food I can't bring myself to eat. We then washed down the shelves, dusted the canned goods then reorganized everything.

This 400sq ft apartment seems somehow bigger now.

I'm resting today. I woke up dehydrated this morning and have been rehydrating.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to reorganize my kitchen and scrub the bottom of all the pans. Luckily didn't have too much clutter or expired food.
Though please tell me how I wound up with a half a dozen meat thermometers.

Preparing for a movie night. I've been a bit adrift with what I want to watch (film or series), but today on the radio they played the Indiana Jones theme and I realized it has been a while since I've seen them. I also got this set today, so it seems like the perfect opportunity to use it.

So for the next three nights I have something to watch (yes, I'm going to ignore the fourth film in the series).

Looking for a new access point.

I've been wanting to get a new one because although mine is dual band, it can't transmit on both bands at the same time. It's currently set to 5ghz, because my Chromecast seems to prefer that. But that means my internet radio and Kindle can't connect. And since about 2 weeks my tablet has problems. Several times a night the connection slows down to a crawl, I need to switch off and on the wifi of my tablet to get it to normal speeds again. I've rebooted both my access point and tablet and still have the problem. It isn't just the tablet; it doesn't do this on either the store's wifi network or the home network.

I think I've found one, it has 4 extra LAN ports. I do read some complaints about signal strength, but I only need it to work in to connecting rooms so I don't expect that to be a problem. Another drawback seems to be the bright LEDs, it is in my bedroom, but I've got a big roll of black tape for those situations.

That moment at 5AM when the toilet seats plastic bolts breaks and the seat slips onto the floor and you have to really go Why me?

I found some clothesline and jimmy rig it. It's not going anywhere. Thank goodness Payday is Friday.

I'm not sure how factual that is. I'm sure heard of the phrase "jimmy the lock" jimmy means "to force" so a jimmy-rig is something you force to work. It's usually a temporary fix. At least that has always been my understanding of the term.
