What the article on this webpage brings out may be all that the headline was referring to (headline writers have to say things that will get your attention). I just don't know. http://fortune.com/2016/09/21/amazon...ng-algorithms/.

Or to offset the price difference by using the slow-shipping bonus offer for Prime members. Or you may avoid the lowest priced seller because their approval rating is too low for your tastes. (I've personally done all three at different times.)

It's really not as simple as "lowest price is always better".

Back on topic, here's a search for all the free albums on Google Play. There's also a bunch of audio books of various bible versions in the search results. Not sure why they're under albums and not audio books, but consider it a bonus freebie.

And usually their customer service is very good, but I've had an ongoing issue I've contacted them about three times now. For some of the oddball jobs I take on, I used to get paid with Amazon gift cards. I'm asking the two or three people who pay me that way to pay me with other gift cards or a visa gift card, but the Amazon ones have become a pain in the neck.

I had Prime from the July before last until this July. Of course, there was no issue with shipping. It was sometimes faster than 2 business days.

Prior to that, though, the shipping was slow, but not quite as slow as you've experienced. I noticed that part of the problem was the amount of time that the order hung around the distribution center before they finally shipped it out. I guess that they prioritized Prime shipments. I guess that's to be expected.

We also assumed they were prioritizing the prime customers. In the past, I could count on an order being fast--sometimes three days. Now, I just assume that I better not order anything from there that I need quickly!

But, you know, your distribution centers are probably all in Texas. And them Texans work more laid-back and slower than folks do in other parts of the country.
