@pochopsp,

Everything you need is in installer_170813.tar.lzma package from the first post (I have updated links).

EMMC images package contains snapshots of internal memory, which I have used for development (not suitable for direct installation). These are rather for those who want to test things out and check what I based on (Freescale stuff mostly). "obuntu" 16G image contains everything, what I had been working on just before leaving this project 2-3 years ago, including sources for screen refresh binaries.
If anyone would like to investigate it, I suggest using kpartx utility for mounting.

Hi,

I want to offer my M92 ... but not under Obuntu.
I tried to reset it updating it with official firmware, but no success at all.
Could someone tell me the right way to reset the M92 on factory settings ?

I suggest using MFG tool from the first post (recovery_flasher.tar.lzma package).

I tried the tool under win7, 8.1 & 10 .
The program stalled as I tried to configure USB ports ...

I think I do something wrong, but I dont find the answer in the docs.

Did you know an usual "newbie" mismatch ?

The MFG utility works only on native XP, as stated in a previous post.

@seaniko7 I extracted and copied the files from the updated link in the first post, but it takes less than one minute to update obunto and then obunto freezes at boot....it erases the sd card an creates 4 empty linux partitions....I am missing some step?

What's the reader under Obuntu that you use ?

Randy, i think you misunderstood him.
Guy55it asked how to reset his reader to factory setting and he got pointed to the proper tool.
Now he's happy that he can try to sell it "as a clean ebook reader"
even though he had some fun running Obuntu.

He didn't said that this fun was related to ebook reading sw working under linux.
Probably he simply enjoyed the geeky experience of opening xterm and firefox
