Given that I started this thread, and given that the purpose of this thread is deals on ebooks, can we please stick to the topic of the thread and post deals, rather than unrelated quarrels about where to start reading those ebooks?

If we cannot stick to the topic, I may find myself losing interest in this thread. I am probably not the only one either.

I am okay with some minor offtopic posts, generally having to do with why people should want to buy the books in question, but after umpteen posts on the matter, all given in a quarrelsome fashion and with no intent of being helpful (to the actual godforsaken topic, which is indeed frequently forsaken), I can no longer deal with this complete and utter garbage!!!

Sorry, but my sense of humor is actually quite capable, and this isn't humor. It hasn't been humor since at least a year ago, when it finally became tiring. Or are you completely unaware of the large amount of forum history devoted to JSWolf's crusade?

I knew he was the inspiration for Foghorn Leghorn, but Fred Allen was before my time and I love Looney Tunes, hence the choice of the later reference. Along those lines, Clark Gable was supposedly the inspiration for Bugs Bunny.
