Didn't buy it from Kobo direct, an online site is selling them in the UK.

Good news, the front light is very even. Phew as I'm Mr picky. I sent back two Voyages that were shocking and an H20 that was too yellow. No colour shift at all, very even across the screen. No light cones at all. The light is less bright that my pw2 by quite a margin. Picture below is at 100%

Pic (no flash obviously) below is in a darkened room, black out blinds, thick curtains. Light at 31%, no font weight increased. Slight shadow around the edges, think its coming from the frame.

7.8" screen, I'm converted. Easy enough to hold, back doesn't feel like rubber to me, more like textured plastic.

One thing I don't particularly like is the power button. Not fussed about its position, for me its not different enough from what surrounds it. Yes, it has a recessed shape, but very slight. Could do with a more pronounced shape. I'll learn to live with it.

As to reading one handed, no problem. Goodbye kindle.
