^ Happens with release-day books. Even if you see that message, the book usually already becomes available in your library. I think the pre-order message appears until about 1AM, maybe later.

OK...I went a little crazy when one website was offering a Fill your Android and a bunch of free books...does anyone know if there is a way to bulk download books from GPlay or am I stuck downloading the epub/ascm files to my pc one by one?

I didn't buy anything but not for lack of trying. I couldn't find anything. Kobo gave me a $5 off coupon but it's has to be over $5 to qualify. Every book in my wish list is below that. How did that happen? It's like 4.99 is the new normal price range which is nice that publishers are finally realizing to sell ebooks you need to price them lower.

Last night I heard someone die. A car rammed itself into a tree right across the street. I was reading when I heard....The sound it made was horrible. We had emergency vehicles here till after midnight. It took a long time to get the body out of that mess. I just found out the driver was in their late twenties and it was a possible suicide. So I'm pretty tore up about it.

I used to be a big SEP fan. Her latest books, not so much, especially with the initial price on them. I decided to check out the reviews of the latest book First Star I See Tonight (released yesterday) and went immediately to the one star reviews... which were given because of the extra large font size of the Kindle book, not because of the content. Oh the comments on those reviews!

It was a nice laugh to start my day.

Winter's Heat is the first in the Seasons series by Denise Domning. As with several other authors, I haven't read any of her romances, but have read a couple of her mysteries and enjoyed them. Heat is free at Amazon US right now, no idea why or for how long.

It depends on the publisher. You should get a deadline when your review is needed in. Goodreads and Amazon is usually where they want it posted.
