It's 34 F here today and drizzling. My least favorite thing, ice cold rain. Ick.

It's cold, wet and windy. And this is the first time I can remember being so displeased with the Scottish winter. Usually it doesn't bother me but this year it's making me miserable. There hasn't been a day pleasant enough for me to go out for a walk since I came back from Florida in November and it's likely to continue for at least another couple of months.

Well, they're both electronics geeks, so there tend to be bits of hardware all over the place, and one also gets a daily newspaper, which tends to stack up. And then there are the dust bunnies they seem to be operating a breeding kennel for.

But they do dishes and laundry, both of them!

Well, today was the 26th day this winter with temps below 0F which is F**********! level on the scale. Hopefully, we are doe with the spit goes clink! temps this year.

I'm booking my Bahamas vacation today. Airfare is stinking though, I'm flying out of Philly (an hour and a half away) at 9:45am. Which means I have to get up ridiculously early. Poo.

I'm at home today. The university curtailed operations today and made the announcement last night!

Oddly enough, there's not actually that much snow on the ground yet, but I understand we're supposed to get 6-12" today. I'm just happy to be able to stay home, sleep late, lounge around... in the MR Lounge, of course!
