The interactive panel is now gone from the us-east server links.
Those are now 'click and get' links.

Still waiting on having the Russian server make the same type of account change.

*) There is good reason to translate the first sentence of the top post now.

That top line is only relevant to the people who are being re-directed here from their native language directions.

Once they scroll down, click what they want, then they return to their native language instructions.

Those with sharp eyes (or those who can read Russian) will notice that the translation of that top line was just changed.
Current translation is by kaznelson, one of our own Russian members here.

Our second distribution point in Europe (Russia, just outside of Moscow) is ready for use.
(Interactive page is gone, speed limiter is gone, our friends at 4pda now have direct access ... )

Evidently, the server for the *Primary* (World) service reverted to the 'for free' plan and started showing everyone an interactive ad panel yesterday.

Which is dead wrong, every one of these servers are 'for pay' services.
Problem fixed. Notice added to directions.

If someone gets an 'ad panel' in the future, please post the fact to this thread.

For those who like to be helpful -
For any of the *.md5 files (about 64 bytes) in the first "Primary" list -
Click on it and the file **should** open on your computer before you can get your finger off of the button.

The Russian server is faster, but you have to be in eastern Europe to notice.

Just as an idea. Isn't it more useful to show md5 in the text and not to load a separate file.

It is:
KOA
factory_KOA_5.7.4_initial
factory_KOA_5.7.4_md5

It would be:
KOA 8f1e7c9124a2b12e643b15447d80feae
factory_KOA_5.7.4_initial

Not really, that would make the results dependent on the user.

On many systems, all the user has to do is click on the *.md5 file in their file manager and the check will be run.

There is something really wrong with those links.
More than one of the set of five are still showing the "free service" ad panel.

I will be working on that problem today.

Another distribution point in the making -
europe-northwest (Netherlands actually)

This one is also impressive -
Less than 5 minutes to transfer all 4G of files from us-west to europe-northwest.
Less than a minute, even for the largest image file.

And there will be no confusion about ads / no ads on this one -
The URLs are different.

Hmm...
Maybe I should make people wait a minute for the *.md5 files?
Since it takes a minute to download the binary image file.
Naw, I think some people have my GPS co-ords.

The ones in red are also up and free, they just make you wait for your download to start.

Me: I close my account.
Them: They keep my payment for six months of ad-free service.

The advertisements are gone from the Russian server for people who obey the 1 download per hour limit.

That is the best it will get, but good enough since the *.md5 file is so small it can be gotten from either of the other two "Europe" servers without delays.
And the customer update files are coming direct from Amazon's cloud server (S3).

But they could, they where gone for 12 hours today.
So I don't think this little bit of drama is over with yet.

I have a PW3 Black with software 5.6.1.1
It was bought with special offers and I don't really want to pay extra 20$'s to remove them.
Can I still use the method described here?
I don't mind the ads, I just want to use the jb addons like Kual and the pdfreader app.
