Let's say that is a feature request that would also fix the "drawing with scrollbars on" bug. To make it simple, the pure bugfix is only to block the bars moving while user starts to draw

maybe a "position lock" button could be added. would need investigation.
that could additionally strip the scrollbars when activated (as a wild guess) whilst locking the current "location" inside any particular zoom level. As I say, regardless of the mechanism, it's a "new" facility. Thus feature request ![]() A further look at the code might reveal why the other thing occurs. Probably running rgbpaint locally on a non-kindle machine could give us a base for "intended operation". Perhaps it is just, oddly, coded that way. Last edited by twobob; 10-02-2013 at 06:28 AM. |

Eheh sorry I'm not good in explaining things in english xD
I think I've not been clear... This is how to reproduce the bug: 1 - You make a new empty, big canvas, or set the zoom level to 200% (it's the same, you need only the two scrollbars appear) 2 - You try to draw. The very first input you make, let's say the first milliseconds in which you are drawing, you are also moving scrollbars, so you go wrong. 3 - If instead, for example, you touch only the screen without moving the pointer, wait a second, then begin to draw, nothing bad happens and the canvas doesn't move while you are drawing However I agree that is so a irrelevant bug to consider it almost a feature request ![]() ![]() |

Hello,
Reviving here a 3 year old thread, but I can't figure it out. App works fine on a KT3....except I do not grasp how to make my paste stick. I can cut and copy, even works to a new file, amazing. The problem arises trying to make it stick to a location, it just doesn't deselect the selection window. Text input is the same ...won't let me stick it. Either a.) I can't figure it out...double tap or other weird combination. Or b.) I'm not the only one having this problem and it needs a fix..in that case a pointer would be helpful Thx for any information |

It's present on my KT3W as well as my older PW1 too. I succeeded in restarting my KT3W in my efforts to unselect the pasted area! ![]() Seems it's a definite bug which was unnoticed till now. |

Thx for the info.
I can't really tell, from what you are writing, if the paste issue is the same on PW1? Just to make sure this is not kt3 related, it would be great if you can test that. wodan |

Same on my pw1. No change.
Also, I was wrong. This issue has been flagged earlier in this thread: Quote:

:-),
I read that...just hoped it got fixed afterwards and I'm just too stupid to use it. that would have been just the killer app for my kindle. anyway this thread looks like it was abandoned over night. thank you for your time my friend. |
