Thinking of upgrading
I'm currently using a Sony Prs T-1 I bought it new 3 or 4 years ago. Seeing as how most of my library was tied to the Sony store and transferred to Kobo. I guess there's been enough feature improvement to look into a new device. With the announcement of the aurora one I'm wading thru the different offerings, I don't have to have the latest and greatest but I like the ambient light sensors and library options. I will just be using it to read no tech pubs or PDFs I have other devices for that. Look forward to the opinions. And I'm not brand loyal at this point just want to still be able to read my current library without messing with DRM and converting.

I would go with whichever Kobo fits your budget.

Well budget isn't an issue, just looking at my options and the aura one will probably fit the bill. Wonder if I can get used to the bigger screen. Always read on a 6" or smaller for readers.

I read on an H2O at 6.8" and it is nicer than 6".

They make 6" screens.
Find the one that best suits your needs.

What size do you normally use?
Do you need a light?
Do you have any disabilities that would make holding a larger device hard?

Jon recommended one, someone else will recommend another.

In the end, get which one fits your needs.

Always read on a 6" screen, not counting iPads. A light would be nice and no disabilities. I'm easy just want to read.

It's been awhile but my understanding was I'd have to strip the DRM and convert with calibre to switch to a kindle.

Kobo lists the Aura one 7.8" and Aura 2nd edition 6" available for preorder on August 30th so good to have options on sizes.
