Author Sort

When I do an author sort some show Last name - First name and some show First name - Last name.

I would like to have everything sort by last name - first name

How do I do this

Get the Quality check Plugin (and run it

): to help clean up (make normal)

Most of what this is about will be checks under Check Metadata

For books whose Author Sort does not conform to preferences, simply select (QCPI) All Results: Tap 'E' (bulk metadata edit): Tick the Automatically set Author sort box: OK

The QCPI FIX section has tools to flip Fn Ln, standardize Initials

detect issues using the Check Metadata Menu
(and some other stuff)

I guess I was not clear what the problem is. In the tag browser under authors the my books from David Weber show up under under D for David. I want them to show under W for Weber

And what I posted will help find those where:
Author Sort is wrong (eg David Weber)
Where Author is the Wrong way (Weber, David) assumes Fn Ln in Author
