- Progress Bar - add extra timer loop for Win10 display.
- Add always_reload_first_chapter setting for base_xenforoforum stories with index chapter.

For me, this works around the issue with Windows 10 progress bar dialogs not displaying until updated.

always_reload_first_chapter is for forum stories with an index post at the beginning.

## In normal operation, when updating an existing epub, old chapters
## will be reused as-is.  Normally, that works fine, but forum stories
## sometimes have an index post as the first 'chapter', and the
## version in the first chapter gets out of sync.

I have a question and maybe a request about the "Make Anthology" command. If I read correctly, it uses epub merge as part of it. So my question is this. When I use epub merge, the meta data will actually bring the discription over as well and merges that so that I have the description of each section. Why can't the "Make Anthology" do the same thing? Right now when I use it, only the Fanfic title's will show up and I have to manually add the description as well. Can Make anthology pull fanfiction description into the Comments as well the titles?

I just tried to download this story from AO3 and got this error: 'unmatched group'

The story is already in my library (I checked it later to see if I had a copy from another site) with the same url.

I'm able to download it successfully, and the error message is almost certainly from a regular expression. I conclude it's probably from something in your personal.ini, probably a replace_metadata that has a \1 (or other number) without a matching (paren) group.

I'd need to see a debug log or your personal.ini (there's a View "Safe" personal.ini button for that purpose) to help you any further.

In the anthology metadata I´m missing publisher, languages and characters.
Do I have to set this in my personal.ini ?

You've bumped into several semi-related issues.

First, the handling for Publisher and Language(s) for Anthologies was broken in similar, but slightly different ways. They are fixed now, but be aware that 'Publisher' isn't one of the available FFF metadata entries for custom columns; use site instead.

Second, anthology books, because they can contain books from different sites, don't use the site specific personal.ini sections. So if your custom columns settings are in a site section, they won't be used for the anthology. That's the most probable explanation for the characters part of your issue.

Third is more of a warning: site and language for an anthology are lists instead of individual values. If you set them to a custom column that isn't a "comma separated values list" type, you may well end up with duplicates because FFF doesn't try to de-dup or order at the anthology level.

Hi - I'm having problems downloading stories from Stories of Arda, it used to work but today FFF is not recognising the story URLs. I tried it on:

Those are failing because the author URLs are failing with 404 codes. Author URLs:

http://www.storiesofarda.com/author.asp?AuthID=1787

Until the site is fixed, FanFicFare isn't going to work with it.
