How do you Create VL by making tag false?

Greetings,

I'm trying to create a virtual library tab to break my library up into Ficton and Non-Fiction. All my non-fiction books are tagged non-fiction, so I need to use the

Code:

tags:"=Non-Fiction"

but use the "false" thingee on it.

I have searched and tried heaps of variations but can't get it to work. Please help. Thanks.

put a not in front

Code:

not tags:"=Non-Fiction"

click on Non-Fiction a second time in the tag browser (Red -)
unless it is a Hierarchical tag , the second clic includes children (+/+, so click 3 or 4 times to get a red - or -/-

Thanks "theducks"...that sorted me out. I was trying to use a "false" thingee - never thought of "Not"!

I don't understand the last bit with the bulb? I don't use the tag browser much - never even saw those +/- things. What are they for?

Just had a quick play and I saw the not function pop up in the search bar when I clicked on it. Never knew that. So much to learn in calibre
