So... it's been more than a week since I contacted the German vendor about the source code, they went just as quiet as Onyx. Who knows, maybe they're Chinese too.

Yes, there appear to be a number of people on the forum complaining about the e-readerstore not being responsive at all on email...

Good news (of sorts), e-readerstore have replied and they said they forwarded the request to Onyx and they'll push them for a reply. We'll see what happens, who knows, maybe, just maybe, Onyx turn out to be nice. :)

Did any of them respond now? I requested the sources for the firmware of the M92, but neither answered till now. The German ereader-store.de may have holidays, but Onyx? I don't think so.

Nope. ereader-store.de went apologetic about how they're only a simple vendor, and promised to forward the request to Onyx, while Onyx evaded my question in a pretty childish manner, and then went silent to any later contact attempt.
