No external SD slot? I am little disappointed.

If you download comics or manga into the this eReader, 8 GB of storage is not enough. I guessing Kobo is relying on its cloud storage for its books.

I am hoping the Aura One is easily upgraded inside for an internal SD card.

Does any read comics on eink? Just viewing an image in EPUB is an exercise in frustration on an ereader and given that comic pages are just pictures...

I have seen many that read comics on their ereaders.

They usually mod their ereaders to get another reader app on them.

Quite happy with this leak. It's really everything I could have hoped for minus the microSD slot, which is not an issue for me. This is an H2O with everything improved, the increased DPI and flush screen are just bonuses.

Bezels have gotten smaller. This is also reflected in the rather minimal weight increase - the device should actually feel lighter now due to weight distribution. Day 1 purchase for me.

It seems to me that Kobo no longer believes there is a business case for external SD card support. A pity, but not unexpected.

it was pretty obvious there wasn't going to be a external micro SD card slot, they had already stepped away from that unfortunately.
