My guess is they can test it for them, but they can't test from within your account and from your computer. Or, more likely, an update of some kind is coming to either the site or the book by next week.

I just successfully bought One Minute to Midnight by Nico Russo at Harlequin. Here's how to download. Use Dolphin on your tablet. I bought mine in my Nexus 7 using Chrome then touched download and when the "open in which app" box came up I choose Dolphin. It wouldn't download in Chrome but it did in Dolphin.

This may work for the Moonstruck book too.

Thanks for the recommendation, I have read 2 of the T.S. Joyce books now and enjoyed them. Never really liked bear shifter books before, these seem to have a feral edge to the bears that is less tongue-in-cheek. Don't like "goofy" bears at all. Will definitely read the rest of the series and continue with her other series. It's good to feel that I am using the KU subscription! I may even renew it.

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed them. I have found her to be very good, not without a mistake here or there, but well done. I haven't read her earliest series yet, but I will get to them. Right now I am on Air Ryder.

I tried Overdrive last week to download it but no go. I bought the book from B&N for 99 cents last night because who knows when Harlequin will get the download fixed.

Next time it happens try Dolphin on your Android device. I wasn't able to download on laptop at all or Chrome Android but dolphin was able to grab it. I think it's a naming issue. I think the name of the epub is not with standards of most browsers. This means unless they fix it future CP releases will have this problem. It's good to have a work around.

{ Is not a normal character for browsers urls and I believe this is the problem.

Another work around is it will download into Mantano (Bookari) from Chrome Android. You can then grab the copy from Mantano\Books folder. I couldn't get it to download into Moon or Pocket.

Joan Wolf is pretty much the only romance author I read faithfully - no matter what era, location, or style, I just enjoy all of her books. BUT, my favorites among her books are all from the time a long time ago when she was writing Regency romances. She has recently gone back to the Regency period and (I think) self-pubbed a new title or two, one of which is The American Earl. But, I've wasn't able to tell any difference in quality between this one and her older Signet published Regencies - I enjoyed it just as much. It has recently dropped to $0.99 at Kindle US, no idea why or for how long.

A New Joan Wolf Regency Romance!


When the Earl of Althorpe dies his daughter Julia is horrified to learn that the new earl is an American. Her father has left their estate, Stoverton, burdened with enormous debt and the only good news about the new earl is that he’s a millionaire. FWIW they did notify me by email that the title was fixed by email.

I don't really have an Andorid device unless the Nook HDs are considered such.

Since you bought it elsewhere maybe see if they can re-issue you a code to replace the one you used on it at HQN's site. I really don't get why they couldn't have emailed you the book when you first reported problems.

We always hope if someone is going to change, it will be positive, but of course, the negative happens sometimes also. Blossom, so sorry to hear that you are facing that situation. Best wishes that you can maintain a healthy outlook and take care of yourself.
