Oasis Gel Back

does anyone know of a back gel cover for the oasis with the standard battery cover on as the back is exposed to nocks and scuffs

I doubt if such a thing exists. If it's the exposed part of the Oasis itself you are worried about would a skin be better? The covers itself is designed to get scuffs, it's supossed to be part of its charm as the cover should look aged as it gets older.

Are there even *any* Oasis covers which replicate the larger battery part of the included cover?? I doubt if Amazon has licensed anything like that (if a license is required). It will take a lot more engineering moxy than just a plain cover for any other version of a kindle.

Now, adding another cover (or carrying envelope) on top of the included larger battery cover is certainly possible. Some of the thick felt envelopes for previous kindles ought to work (check dimensions). But that won't help if you mean a "while you read" cover.
