Procrastinating.

I need to do the dishes, which is one of my least favourite chores. My friends have a dishwasher, but with the amount of dishes I have, not much, I can't justify using it.

After I've done the dishes I'm going to look into powerbanks. My sister and I have decided to go to Brughes for a couple of days in August. The train ride is almost 4 hours, so it might come in handy if I want to watch a movie.

Me too. I hate doing dishes. No dishwasher. The new ones take forever to do a load though. I had one in Raleigh that I didn't like. I've been washing by hand for 20 years. This place the sinks are really shallow. I get water everywhere. I hate it.

LOL Guess I am the odd one out. I LOVE doing dishes. It is the hot water that helps the pain in my hands. Feels so soothing on the aching joints. Arthur is an uninvited guest. We have lots of cupboard space but I asked for no dishwasher. I actually ruined two of them from lack of use. They dried out. HA they store baking pans nicely and easy to reach them.

Blossom I hope the stick blender comes soon. It makes me gag to do it but kitty loves it that way. All the kitties do. I just keep the whipped food in the fridge to keep it fresh. Little kitty does not eat a lot. I mix her meds into it. Glad you did not wait to order the blender. Word of warning be sure the dish you are mixing it in is as deep as cottage cheese dish or you could be wearing the stinky stuff. Also pulse into it not turn it on and go. I learned the hard way. Yuck yuck yuck.

I have not bought the power bank yet. I was also waiting until payday on Wednesday. Another question. Can you use the tablet while it is charging on the power bank? I wonder how long it takes to charge on the power bank?

Cinisajoy I try not to buy too much more at the thrift store. But I can not pass up a pretty glass dish I use them in my windows.

Yes, you can use it while it is charging. It just won't charge as fast.
It depends how low the battery is, how fast it charges.

Now as to the thrift store could not resist the 15 by 20 air insulated cookie sheet for $2. And I am a sucker for their 4 for 99 cents books. Must buy 4.
I collect mostly cookbooks. I have 35 out of the 50 states.

Whenever I do dishes, I always pre-wash to get everything off the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. It's never really a chore, because I use that time to listen to audiobooks.

Great finds Cinisajoy. I used to collect cook books and baking things too. Bargains are always wonderful. I can no longer eat baked goodies. So sad about that. My cook books have been weeded down to fit in the bottom drawer in kitchen. I just use a coupe and would pass the rest on but keep them because I am sentimental about them. Not a great reason to keep them. LOL I loved to cook but now hubby can barely eat and my diet is limited. Needless to say I do not have many dishes to do either. I do have a small stew in the crock pot for hubby at his request. Hoping he can eat it come dinner time. I was actually hoping it will be done by his lunch time and he would eat it then. Usually by dinner time he is totally off food.

I just ordered two early birthday presents to myself. I've been wanting to get certain markers for a while, but they are quite expensive. On Amazon I found the full set of 80 marker for €3 more than I would pay for the 36 marker set in the Netherlands. After I paid I got the standard page of "you might also like" and I saw a watercolour set I've also been wanting to buy for less than €20, where I would pay almost €50 for the same set.

I have to be patient, though. Estimated arrival date is betwen 2 and 4 weeks from now.

I just shampoo the rug with my little green machine. Maisy is not having a good morning. She refused the litter box again after using it three times in a row. I think she just gets mad at everything. She is confined to her crate till this episode is over.

The cats both of them had me hopping around this morning. I'm exhausted.

About to go walk Luca for the last time today. After that I will take a quick shower, put on my pyjamas, make a cup of tea and curl up on the couch to watch something. I'm just not sure what, I just finished Stranger Things (which was incredibly good) and now I'll have to decide what I'm in the mood for next. Or maybe I'll watch a film, whatever catches my eye on Netflix later on.

It's 10pm and I haven't slept since yesterday. Maisy was ill all day. Never been this bad. I threw out the pink bag of food. I fasted both of them for a few hours. Nothing but water and it finally stopped. Now introducing small amounts of the new food. Normally you are suppose to mix the old and the new but there is something seriously wrong with that bag. It made both of them ill. I'm thinking of calling Iams to report it. I got sick. Similar symptoms. I suspect from handling the food. I've been ill since we got the food but never put the two together. I thought it was lack of sleep and just stress but I'm wondering if it be could food poisoning? I just don't know anymore.

We only drink bottle water. Maisy drinks bottle but Sweetpea is a toilet drinker. Hubby is fine. Just us three with litter box issues.
