Trying to resist. I've got 20 books in my cart right now, which totals just over $100 bucks after the 20% off so it qualifies for the 10% large transaction rebate too. It's sooooo tempting even though I'm trying to cut back.

I caved.

But I can't feel too bad for spending a little over $100, and getting back $77.

I just don't know how Fictionwise could possibly be making any money.

I caved too.

Hard to beat $125 worth of books for $100 and then getting $70 of that $100 back.

Well, so much for my determination to stick to public domain and/or library books and therefore not buy any ebooks! In the past two days, I've purchased about a dozen books and joined the reader's club, for a total of about $150. But I do have about $80 in micropay rebates, so I don't feel too bad overall. Still, with thousands of free books available, you'd think I'd be able to resist. Yeah, right!

i decided to only do $25 this time, and it wasn't easy. i figured i still have some money left in my micropay account from the pre-christmas sale so why not take it easy. now my book lust is rising and i'm wondering why i didn't get more *LOL*

I've got my wishlist down to three books now with all their sales. Have enough micropay to buy them too... So maybe your right it's time to stop.

I can sympathize with the desire to get more books as there are about 10-15 books on my wishlist which look really cheap, with the 65% off you get with ereader.

The only thing stopping me is the fact that I still have about 10 to 12 books unread from my binge during the last two sales, oh and the $180 in micropay I have tied up at fictionwise. I don't want to increase that balance more until I get it down a bit.

Still fictionwise and BoB have really come forward with a lot of sales in the last 6 months.

Were these scales that common previously ? I can't really remember.

Well, I just bought 7 LIT books, and with purchases over the past 2 months, I now have approximately $93.00 in FW's micropay, so I've been sucked in...particularly given the fact I acquired my Sony 700 in late 11/08.

I'm an addict! I'm screwed!

HELP ME!

well, it was very close, but i managed to resist. (ouf !) this weekend i got so far as to go through my entire wishlist and transfer over the books i most wanted to my cart, and admire the savings / refund i would earn. but then i looked at my bookshelf, and all the books i bought during the last sale which i haven't read yet, and i decided that i should probably get a grip and finish them first.

after all, there will always be another sale.

(and i probably won't manage to muster that kind of self-restraint twice in a row).

Now have $170 of micropay credit.. just dont ask... the reader is only 2 weeks old.... oh well I'm sorted for the rest of the year
