Texas needs to be split up. New Mexico's eastern border should extend southward to the Mexican border; placing El Paso within its borders.

LOL. I joke with some of my friends that the rest of the USA needs to build a wall along the state lines between TX and LA, AR, OK, and NM! The rest of the country probably needs a break from us. Sadly, it is definitely not the friendly TX I grew up in. Tejas means "friendship". When I was a kid in the 60's every car you passed you waived at, in a friendly manner, and they waived back. Now they just give you an obscene gesture or shoot at you. Even though my TX roots go back to the 1830's, I feel like a fish out of water. I wish I could afford to move to NM or CO.

I am a import to Texas, from a land far far away. I didn't really pick it. Just were I ended up at. At least I am a bit further down now. I did not like the Killeen area much. Shudders. Didn't like Oklahoma much either, which was in between (chronological, not geo), but at least it was more small town. I do not like cities. Driving, yikes.

Now I am in the land of the Margaritas. Or Alamo, whichever you prefer.

And right now the humid heat is killing me

I hated San Antonio; too humid. El Paso, OTOH, is nice and dry.

Well, my lost gift card arrived today. I called Amazon to see what they wanted me to do with it, since I already received a refund for it. They told me to keep it and said I wouldn't be charged for it again.

Bottom line - I got $60 free ($50 GC & $10 promo credit). Great customer service.

Wowza! Some say "da Bronx", Detroit, parts of L.A., and various other American cities are bad, but I think your Texas story takes the cake. Thanks for the morning chuckle.

PI$$ed I spent 4 Hours today setting up my Fire Stick. & Couldn't watch ANY Movies! It fine for checking out movies ... Prime & Disney BUT when I pick a movie to Watch Suddenly its... Lost Connection... Tho when I checked the Connection its Connected. Worst Junk I ever purchased!

I am wondering if it is your devices or your Internet connection. I recall you had slow updates on another fire device.
Have you tried rebooting your modem?
If it doesn't have a reset, unplug wait 30 seconds and plug back in.
Oh and please return that Fire stick now.

Modem is Fine. It 3 Feet from the TV the Stick is connected to. ALL Lights are on ALL time.

Yes it seems ALL the Fire Products I purchased are CRAP. Use to be I brag about Amazon but not any more.

Amazon finally Fixed [in their eyes] my Fire 10... They REMOVED ALL my Amazon Movies! Now I have Tons of Space on the SDCard!

My Fire stick does a similar thing. Its the first one that came out, when they sold them for $19, couldn't use it for streaming prime music as it kept dropping internet. It also skipped on shows.

I kept using My roku's. But I wanted a FireTV for other stuff and the 4K and I have to say the FireTV box is awesome. It is so fast and has not once dropped anything, nor has it skipped.

Fire stick isn't the only stick type device though we have had issues with. We tried a couple of other brands and they did similar stuff. I am sticking with the boxes from now on. Never had any issues with my Fire tablets.

I have 3 Vudu Sticks & a Roko stick NOT One problem! Heck I thought my biggest problem was putting the Vudu App on the Amazon Stick! No I haven't even tried that! Considering I cant even Play a Amazon Movie with an Amazon TV Stick... I only have 1 TV that According to Amazon suppose to work with their stick.
