I had ordered some Damp Rid things and some cedar block hangers on Prime Day. When I ordered it said they'd be split into two orders, with the Damp Rid arriving Friday and the cedar hangers Tuesday. But they both arrived today! So no problems with delivery here, they actually did better than they promised to.

There's this great story... "Memory Wall" - first story in the collection of the same name by Anthony Doerr (my newest favorite writer). All the stories are great and all play on the theme of 'memory.'

No problems for me. All my orders arrived on time as promised in two days. Amazon even combined two seperate orders (many hours apart) into one shipment as sometimes happens in my experience.

Sounds like if there was bottlenecks it was only localized to certain items and or market areas.

I am still waiting on my pot. It still says gets here Monday. Been sitting in my city at UPS since 2 am this morning. I ordered that late on prime day so I thought maybe they had to get more stock, but I got the ship notice next day, so that isn't it. Since it was late on the 12th, I start counting on 13th for the 2 day shipping. Should have gotten it today. Oh well, it was a impulse buy anyway. Gives me the weekend to find some recipes.

I don't have issues very often with shipping overall, just that they often use USPS which will not deliver to our front door, but the apartment office only. Then I have to catch them in the office, which they aren't always in.

But even with UPS they usually catch it so it gets here in 2 days. Not this time.

Got my Echo Remote today as promised; but alas, no gift card. They think it's lost, so they gave me a refund. They'll deactivate it so it can't be used wherever it shows up.

...and life goes on. My only disappointment is that they didn't bundle any tuna with my remote.

My Prime Day purchase will be via the slow delivery on Monday; interesting thing is one of the items is a dup on a 2 day delivery & it looks like it was sent from Florida via USPS while the slow delivery is using OnTrac (local version of ups).

As Amazon announced that a new distro center for small items by the airport, will be wondering if I can order & go pick it up as it shouldn't take me about 15-20 mins.
