So, the Nook app on the Mac is still broken. I am able to download books in Nook Study but de-drm is not working for those books. Can anyone who uses Nook study on a Mac say what steps they are using if this is working for them? |

While not answering your slightly buried question, there's a solution which doesn't require digging around in an android file system. I note you have a Nook Simple Touch, provided it's still working you'll just need two SD cards and you'll be all set. This will make the Nook download BN purchased books to the SD card rather than the internal and hidden partition. http://nookworks.blogspot.com/2012/0...d-card-as.html |

I just got my first imac after using Windows since before it was born. Have been successfully using Calibre/Alf and Nook for PC and Study on my now-old PC for over 5 years. I have d/l'd and tried Nook for Mac/Study from any place I could find it and none will connect to B&N from the mac citing "We are experiencing an issue while attempting to connect to the time servers. This may be a result of your network's firewall settings". NOT!! The firewall isn't even turned on. The Nook readers are still working on the PC so I can't figure out WHY they wouldn't work on the mac. Any ideas? Thanks! |

I made the mistake of signing out of Nook Study about 6 months ago and I never have been able to log back into it so I'm not sure it really works anymore. Nook for PC does work though so I'm still able to download.

I don't think that nook for Mac works at all any more. I would concentrate your efforts on nook Study. I have a vague memory that installing Adobe Digital Editions 2.0.1 and registering it with your Adobe ID might help with getting nook Study for Mac to run. Good luck! | |

I run nook for PC and it still works to download books which is good as I now have a settlement credit to use.

On Windows, Nookstudy takes ages to load for me. Nook for PC is slightly better, but both are horribly buggy.
