No. I do believe he/she was born under my shed. There were originally 4 but yesterday I only saw two. Splotch and Grayscale. I can't get near them yet. They look to be about 8 weeks old.

He would teach them how to hog a bed and sleep. Though he did stay awake for an hour this morning.
He is 15 years old. And is getting lighter himself.

is there a chance that we will see Amazon make changes in the production so we will see better displays in the Oasis devices?

As far as I understand it, the Voyage had also severe gradient and light cone problems in the beginning and is no longer affected by this in such a great scale anymore. At least according to the recent reviews I've read on amazon.

I must disappoint you, I got the Voyage after the Oasis, I got the Paperwhite3 after the Oasis. All still have the gradient (I don't know if it was any worse a year ago).
