Little Man woke up crying last night. I have no idea why, he eventually nodded when I asked him if he was sad that his grandparents had gone home. Thank god for big boy beds because I was able to climb into bed with him and snuggle him until he fell back asleep.

Drinking my faux San Pellegrino today. Though I'm thinking that a cup of Lapsang Souchong would be appropriate for this gray afternoon.

I did end up having that Lapsang Souchong, and it really hit the spot on a cool and rainy afternoon. But now, finishing up the day with faux San Pellegrino.

JeJu Korean Green

I have a briefing at work that I am responsible for and my Husband is out of town. So of course the Little Man has a total melt down last night. Three hour tantrum with moving targets as to what was up setting him. So we both get to bed way too late. Get him up and ready to go this morning with no problem only to have the car not start. Called a friend to come and pick up Lucas and take him to day care so I can focus on car and getting to work because of this briefing. Car gets jumped. I let it run for 30 minutes before driving to work. Get to work, turn off car and go to turn it back on and of course it won't start. So I am going to take care of my brief and then get the car towed. I have to get a rental or a loaner so I can get little dude from day care.

Just ugggghhhh

Coconut water. Don't care if it doesn't rehydrate better than water, or if you can get the electrolytes cheaper by eating a banana, I just love the taste.

Oh, what a lousy way to start a day! I hope (and suspect) that your car problem is only a dead battery, and replacing that should get you back to happy. That could easily be handled without having to get a loaner/rental. Once your briefing is over, of course.

I raise a cup of Anniversary Breakfast Blend to you with that hope it all sorts with no more than the requisite minimum fuss. (Which is, after all, MORE than enough!)

Chartreuse and soda tastes like a flowery gin and tonic to me (and I like gin and tonic).

Certainly true in most cases with tea. One thing you might not realize is that this better grade of tea will likely allow more steepings for the same amount of tea. It's very likely that you can get two, or even three, steepings out of the same amount of tea you're using now of the lower grade for a single steeping. That changes the numbers a bit.

Drinking faux San Pellegrino now, having had a large mug of Peet's Anniversary Breakfast Blend tea this morning.
