I'm very boring when it comes to socks. They have to be black, in summer I get what we call sneaker or ankle socks, in winter I get regular sock and when it's really cold I'll get a couple of pairs of thermal or ski socks. I usually get nine or ten pairs. We live in and old house and there are lots of places to snag your sock if you're not careful, so I like to have spares.

I even use it in winter and freeze dry the laundry. LOL The lines are under cover which also gives me extras minutes to grab clothes off the lines if a sudden rain storm comes up. Mountain weather can change in the blink of an eye.

I ended up putting all my clothes in the closet even folded things in drawers. So much nicer to just stand in there and get totally dressed. Verses going from bathroom to dresser to closet then probably back to dresser because I changed my mind on one T-shirt or another. LOL Now I can have my own little fashion show in the closet and be done with it. LOL WE have a smallish walk in closet so there is room.
I wish we could hang our clothes outside but that isn't really an option living in the inner city. We have a yard but it's a dank and damp place.

I have to clothes closets. In my bedroom, which is only shelves, where I keep most of my off season and special occasion clothing. And a step in closet in my work room. That is filled with old clothes, junk and stuff my mother hasn't got a place for. It has a rod, so a couple of things hang there that can't be folded. I've been thinking of clearing out the latter closet. Keep the rod and maybe one or two shelves for clothing and use the rest for my expanding craft stuff.

WE have a small half an acre. I say small because one end of it is straight up a hill side too steep to walk on. We did not want so much property. I love gardening but I worry as I get older how I am going to keep it all up.

When we bought this house we made it to age in place. Just the two of us. It works very well. My studio is over flowing and I do have sheets of glass up in the garage loft. Glass is heavy and I am honestly afraid of the weight I have in that one room. I do have it positioned over the foundation walls.

I wear a lot of dresses just because I like them, especially in summer when it is so hot. So I do need hanging space.

Working on painting the fabric on the old chair I am re-doing. I know that sounds weird but I did it with another chair years ago and revived it for who knows how long. And now it is kind of washable. Considering we had two dogs and all the kitties.

Waiting for paint to dry for second coat. Have had lots of lap time with kitty and I got all my amazon books loaded over to my lap top. Finally committed to doing the Calibre on it them sending the books I would like to read out to my tablets from there. So glad I am doing this I discovered so many books I have forgotten about and do want to read. I have been reading a few free books for reviews but I will finish the book I am doing now and not do that any more. One book I just read I am hesitating to review. I did not like it at all. I do not want to hurt feelings. Sigh.

YIKES still waiting for the books to load on my PC kindle app. I did not even consider how long it might take. I think I will hang out with the freaked out dog for awhile then shut down and let it roll again tomorrow.

Plastic canvas. Of course. It makes great blocks. I used to do a lot of cross stitch. Hands will not hold the needle for the hours it takes now. Used to quilt too and loved it and also crochet and weaving. Seems every craft takes its tole on our bodies. My mind is always going 900 MPH when it comes to creating. I drive my hubby batty. He is very tolerant.

Sounds like the party outside is finally over. I am going to unwrap the dog, my version of the thunder shirt, and head to bed.

I had to quit all crafts for 5 years after the fashion doll nightmare camper. It totally trashed my hands. Now I can still only work a few minutes at a time.

The two big problems with reviewing "here is my book" are the time (some authors think a reader can read their book in just a few hours so they want the review immediately) and many of those books are not worth reviewing.

But don't dare tell the author why you didn't like his book. Favorite excuse seems to be well that is what big name does. Note: The author has probably never actually read said big name or big name is in another genre or both. Other favorite excuse was I don't notice errors so my readers won't either.

On another site: I have actually heard authors say I did a free giveaway yesterday, why don't I have any reviews yet. Then they say how many downloads they got.

I was actually offered a blog to review books. I turned it down.

Repetitive movement can really cause a number on our hands. I am doing a crochet rug and I will get it done. It might take me a couple of months when I used to whip one out in a day.

Friend tried so hard to get me to do a blog. Just way too much trouble for some thing I really have no interest in doing. I enjoy others blogs, some times, if I am looking for how to do a diy. Like I need more things to do to get myself in trouble LOL.

724 books now loaded to PC Kindle app now. Going a little faster. Seeing so many books I want to read right now. So happy I am doing this. Off to start the gravy train around here. My Mothers 85th Birthday today.

Happy birthday mom.

I have put my crochet blanket up for the summer. I will finish it next fall. It is made with variegated yarn found at assorted thrift stores. No rhyme or reason to the color scheme. I will put it in an album here when it gets done.

I have some pretty turquoise and black yarns I would like to do into a throw some day. I did pull the yarns out of my trunk when I had it out for painting and standing on end so I could open it. I think it is a good winter project too. Too hot on the lap. The rug is not going to be very big so it is not too hot.

Finished filling in another stone topper for friend and painted another coat of paint on the chair. Will have to figure how to do an album here. I have a Flicker account with all my photos online I usually use. Not sure if links are allowed for that.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes for Mom. I just got off the phone with her. She is in MO right now with my brother.

What am I doing? Pretty much crying because I just found out a friend and fellow MR has aggressive bone cancer.
The world will lose a great mind and a gentle human being.
