Yeah, that's the spirit! Speaking of spirits, I'll offer my traditional, "Can I get you a drink?", and we'll assume the usual rallying cry of denial/affirmation from everyone who has already drunk the Zany Carter Kool-Aid. And so...

Can I get you a drink?

Oh, pshaw! (I've always wanted to say "pshaw!")

I have it on good authority from the keyboard of one of our ever-delightful elders, that I'm just a perfectly harmless, little monkey. Besides, do you mean "like a mold?".

[Shh, just quietly Am...the sitting down thing, it's purely psychological. One sip of a ZC and you're swimming in gravitational anolom....amonolie..ananomol...you're so totally spaced, that sitting "down" is like trying to get a fish to count its legs.]

If you mix it with butter, slather it on a sliced breadstick and chuck it in the oven for a bit, it tastes pretty damn good. I find that helpful.

Otherwise, no.

Cheers,

I've heard that if you massage your metadata too much you'll grow hair on your palms and go blind.

Don't let that stop you. "Coherence" is not here given the favoured status it enjoys in other places.

Very true, though most don't realise it. I just cut out the middle man/vampire/werewolf (There! There wolf! There castle!) and just advertise "Only vampires need apply". (Of course, any critical reference to legal folk excludes those like our own, wonderful Ricky: the crazy cat legal lady).

Post Introduction

I am a 74 year old avid reader with a Kindle which I have owned since last May.
I was born and spent the first 30 years of my life in England and have a valid accent to prove it. These days, I live in Vermont where we are now having snow.
Before I retired, I was a lion tamer a.k.a a seventh grade teacher. I taught writing in a rural school in Mississippi for 30 years.

G'day, Patrisha. Allow me to say some condescendingly "respectful" catchphrases regarding your collected years until desertgrandma justly thumps me with her big stick [WHACK!]. See? I deserved that. If you didn't bring your own stick, I'm sure desertgrandma has a spare she can lend you.

Welcome aboard. What's your poison? (by which I actually mean, "What do you like to read?" rather than my usual "Can I get you a drink?", though "Can I get you a drink?" is always a given when talking to me ).

Cheers,
Marc
