Drag and Drop of Folders

I just tried to add some files to calibre via drag and drop on my mac, and found something slightly odd ... if I drag just files over it works fine, but if I drag a directory it ignores it.

Is this just an issue with the mac version, or is it a common feature throughout all versions?

It's a feature. To add folders, use the arrow next to the add books button.
