I can use any font I want on my Kobo although I use Amasis with the sliding the weight control almost all the way to the right. The clean even lighting makes it easy on my eyes in light or dark. It's so tiny and lightweight I can hold it for hours with one hand. Battery life is phenomenal. I can go 3 weeks on one charge with 4 to 5 hours of reading a day. |

I normally find IR touch very frustrating such as @HarryT BUT following a lot of the advice listing in this thread such as blowing the dust from the edges etc. seems to have helped. I still have issues but not as much as i have been. I also forget it uses IR in my fits of rage and press harder so again remembering trying to break the beam instead of pressing harder has helped me as well as swiping in empty areas when im browsing my library as swipes almost always recognizes as a touch for me. weirdly trying to use my nail as oppose to my whole finger has helped in certain instances so i have decided to try give the kobo another chance although the battery is toast (it drops from 100 to 40 in about a day then normal wear) i think i will see how it goes and if it gets too frustrating i may see if Kobo releases a capacitive seen any time soon failing that i wil get an onyx as suggested here or a Paperwhite3. |

Kobo do a reader with a capacitive touchscreen. It's the one with the flush screen - is it the Aura HD? For self-evident reasons, flush screens can't use IR touch!
