I've got $14.78 compared to $1.57 from Amazon. I'm guessing this is from the settlement, but no email for me from Kobo. I did get an email from Amazon though.

I haven't gotten anything from Kobo, which should have a LOT more for me than Amazon. And also no email from Kobo yet (although with Kobo, not sure if that means anything...)

Did you maybe price-match something to get the credit?

On another note - is it only ebooks purchased in the US store that qualifies for whatever it is that's being refunded?

My account was opened in the first quarter of 2015, so perhaps it doesn't count?

Not that I'm an especially frequent poster, but I'm a frequent reader and I don't mind. I've always scrolled down past the stickies to check out any one-offs that might be posted.

I did a chat with Kobo and they are processing the Apple settlements. I had filled out the form to get a check instead, but they gave me some credit. It should be more according to the books they credited me with the last time around. So I'm waiting to see if they send a check too.

While I liked the thread being stickied, I just used Blossom's suggestion to subscribe to the thread. That way if I don't see in on the first page, I can quickly find it.

Yes, only agency priced books purchased from April 1, 2010 through May 21, 2012.

The thing is, I'm already subscribed to this thread and it just means that I receive emails and can come into the thread that way, or via my CP.

But, I often post at a time when there are no 'new' threads showing. That is, I've already looked at the thread that I was subscribed to, and now there is no way for me to get at the Discounts thread except by searching through all the posts in the very mixed un-stickied section below.

And because of the volume of single book posts it doesn't take long (a matter of a day or two or so), for the Discounts thread to be over the page/s.

Another idea fellow Discount thread posters ..... why have a Discounts thread at all? Why not just go single post with an item that you want to post that relates to Discount thread matters?

If the thread is considered somewhat redundant then I am certainly prepared to post single thread ......

Not that this is the place to discuss this but you can bookmark the thread then you won't have a problem finding it if the CP isn't your style.

I didn't realize the thread only appeared when there were unread posts present.

Guess I will just do a forum search if it gets lost.

Of course, if Kobo would just bring back their contests/frequent coupons it would be easier to convince TPTB that the thread should be stickied.

Blossom, I think this is the place to discuss this 'cos a change has been made to how to access this thread , and bookmarks don't work for me.
