I found that email too (with the 20% off...) I might have the same problem as snowman...


I think I won't be cleaning out my entire wish list, but only all Feist books I have in there, or all the Pratchett books... Or all the Feist and Hobbs...

Another plot! A conspiracy, if you will! No doubt part of some publishing cartels plan to force me to finally pick up those books with the hardback pricing still on them.

Oh yes, I'm onto your little game! You think by enlisting an alliance with Fictionwise and pulling off this little "sale" I'll be tricked into buying yet MORE books. Well you're wrong.

While I will be picking up more books it won't be due to your clever usage of monetary incentives. I will buy more books as a protest!

I will attempt to point out the error of your ways by buying the books sitting on my wishlist and then download them using YOUR bandwidth! See? See? Now who has the upper hand, eh? ME! The fellow with the full set of Simon Green novels!

I shall now dance! (Well, wiggle excitedly in my chair while at work.)

I found I could keep myself in (hey, I still need to buy that e-ink reader this year, so I can't spend all my money on books...) and only bought the first 10 discworlds and some other odds and ends I had in my list...
