Mine wouldn't work well with a monitor though. Too heavy. Works great for a e-reader.

We installed those with touch monitors at work for operators.

I have that Ergotron stand. It's holding up a 24 inch monitor weighing in at 6 kg (13.2 lbs). I think this stand is a bit of an overkill for an e-reader

And the Ergotron looks like it costs about $160? And that doesn't include anything to actually hold an e-reader. Nor does it provide any stand. You need to bolt, or clamp, it to something. Don't know how it would work for reading in bed?

Nice...I could see my mother using something like this as well. I was looking for something like this to customize a plant light last year so I'll have to keep this in mind when i decide to try my plants again {don't worry they are PG plants :-p}.
