As an aside, I saw that they were offering bonus points for a purchase of Lynne Graham's 100th book so I did purchase it using one of my free coupon codes. I didn't think that would qualify for the bonus (and it didn't) but I had to try. She's one of my favorite Presents authors.

I had a couple of codes from January which did not work for me, so customer service just gave me back the points. I have to give their customer service props. It may take a few days but they've always solved whatever issues I've had.

Also, they fixed whatever was wrong with the buy link for Piper J Drake's latest book. So if you see any books which should be available to buy but aren't, send them an email.

I ran across a series of historical romances, of which 13 which are currently free at Amazon.

The series is called the "Mail Order Bride" series. The author of all of the books is Faye Sonja.

If you are only interested in trashy romance novels, you will be disappointed in these, I think: they state, and emphasize, that they are clean ones. I don't know if there is any religious overtone or if there are any religious allusions, references, or such like in these books, however.

They are published by a company called Speedy Publishing, which seems to me to have characteristics of both a traditional and a self-publishing publisher. However, generally speaking, the books in this series are highly rated. Too, the thought occurs to me that many currently popular authors may have started out going the self-publishing route. So, you may not want to dismiss these books simply because of them being self-published.

Anyone recognize this book?

The main character was a woman in her 20-30s. At some point in the book her and the male love interest were at some type of event (separately, I believe). I think it was black tie, but I could be wrong. Anyway, the woman was wearing spanx or something similar under her clothes that ended up being too tight. A while into the party she starts to get lightheaded and cant breathe. The guy notices or she get his attention and they escape to the bathroom where he tries to help her get out of them. I think he ended up cutting them off? Overall I feel like the book was comical and sweet.

Not a category but a longer romance and more recent, like last 5-6 years.

OMG did you just say Trashy? Romance novels are not Trashy. There are some sexier or hotter than others but Trashy is a good way to offend a Romance reader like the subscribers of this thread.

And saying clean that terms irks me. It implies books with sex scenes are dirty. I think you can say tender or sweet or chaste to books that contain no sex.

All that said thanks for sharing. I'll have to take a look at them.
