I feel terribly guilty causing all this hassle just because I put brackets in the folder name. I'm so sorry.

Don't worry about it. It's not your fault that Windows .bat files are still using 40-year old technology

Is there a patch for Kobo that allows you to flip page forward, swipe left to right?

I searched the forum and did not find anything like this

You can change the tap area page forward/back in Reading setting.

If you are reading a book in RTL languages (Hebrew, Arbic...), and you want to swipe and tap page left to right, you need to change the page-progression to rtl in the book.

- Open the book with Sigil or Calibre>edit book.

- In .opf change the line "<spine toc="ncx">" to "<spine page-progression-direction="rtl" toc="ncx">"

Name:	Capture.PNG
Views:	641
Size:	145.2 KB
ID:	149658

It only work in Kepub format, so you can change the extension of the book to .kepub.epub, or use
Kobo Utilities in Calibre.

Tried applying this to my Aura One, doesn't seem to change anything. I didn't fully expect it would. Any chance of an update?

Is there a way to patch the footer to have both the "% read" AND the "time left in book". Currently Kobo only allows for an OR, "either the % OR the Time BUT NOT BOTH >8[!"

Basically I want the footer to look something like this:
4 hours 4 min. 17%

It would be nice to be able to see how much time I have left AND what % I'm at without having to jump to the settings all the time. It's something kindle has by default and I'm so used to it.

There is no patch to do that.

You can cycle the progress indicator between page/percentage/time by long-pressing on the indicator. Not eactly what you want, but faster than going into settings to change it.
