I am continuing work on my "complete works of Shakespeare". I've already uploaded (and just revised) a "tragedies" volume; I'm now working on a volume of the "histories".

I've found an illustrated (Paul Bransom) version of The Wind in the Willows I'll be working on to add to Harry's version.

That's excellent. Unfortunately the original illustrations are not currently in the public domain.

Ouch. Illustrations from a 1913 edition are not in the public domain? So the "before 1923" rule for books doesn't apply to book illustrations?

IANAL, but I can't think of any reason they wouldn't be in the public domain in the US...

I may be getting confused with something else I looked at recently. If it was published in 1913, then certainly it's OK - in the US, at least!

"Histories" now uploaded for Sony and Mobipocket.

I have finished this and will post these later today. Unless there are objections, I will post two versions of each format - one with a blank line after each paragraph and without. I think the poll of a month ago or so indicated roughly half preferred ebooks one way and half the other way so I thought this would be the most beneficial to all.

Just posted an omnibus edition of Shakespeare's Comedies. That, together with the previously-posted "Tragedies" and "Histories" volumes, completes the posting of Shakespeare's plays. A "Poetry" volume will follow shortly.

Just about finished with Mark Clifton's novel, Eight Keys To Eden, and then I'll start on his novellete, "Sense From Thought Divide."

I'll post both in my normal lrf and will also make them available for the mobi/prc group.

Look for those today.

I have a few new projects (errm long-term projects).

Besides the Athelstane books, I will try to edit the whole of Jules Verne in French (all or nearly all illustrated), German and English (where it has not been done before). Staggering, isn't it?

Then there is G.A. Henty. Prolific writer he was, just like Ballantyne, Fenn, Kingston, Marryat, Sabatini (you know the lot). I will integrate him in my circle.

Oh yes, and in German, since I will be done with May in a few weeks, I will begin with Friedrich Gerstäcker. Friedrich Glauser is almost done, too.

As if this wasn't enough, I hear Jack London calling from the Wild (epub Jack London edition? )

It might be worth checking with RWood and Madam Broshkina (who have uploaded a lot of Jack London) whether they are planning to upload in EPub.
I wish more of the Friedrich Glauser was available in English. He is a fine writer.

Just posted a volume of Shakespeare's poetry. This concludes the "Complete Works" of Shakespeare. Hope that people find it of use.
